Natural ways to reduce stress

There are many ways that a Naturopath can help you reduce stress in your life. Our Naturopath Elysia never uses a "one size fits all" approach. The reason why stress is affecting your life may be very different to the effect of stress on somebody else. Some people when they are stressed get irritable bowel syndrome, while others may have trouble sleeping or concentrating at work.

Elysia will take a full case history, assess your diet and lifestyle and then make recommendations which will suit you to best reduce the stress you are experiencing.

You may be prescribed herbs or vitamins to reduce stress, dietary advice to support your body during times of stress and also lifestyle advice such as sleep tips or relaxation techniques.

Herbal Medicine is an extremely gentle and effective way to reduce mild to moderate stress without the need for strong medications. If you are on medication such as antidepressants, Elysia is trained to recommend only the herbs which are safe to take while you are on medication.
